More About Peri
With almost two decades working in the fitness industry, Peri Evanoff is ACE certified Personal Trainer, Spinning® instructor and AFAA group exercise instructor in the Washington D.C. area. Peri is also a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She specializes in women’s fitness and strength (ACE certified).
Peri has worked with both national and local gyms in the Metro area. One constant that always stood out to Peri is that the fitness industry is geared towards men. This inspired her to start her own fitness studio customized for women.
Her approach to training and exercise is balance. There is a time for strength, mobility, and flexibility, and they are all required to achieve one another. She believes in bio-individuality and that each person requires an approach to their training that is unique to them to ensure their one body and mind are as robust and healthy as they can be. She believes that it is her job to give clients the tools and that it is their job to do the work. Helping others achieve the best version of themselves and get stronger is the passion that drives her.
Peri resides in Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband, two young children, and their dog. When she is not spending time with her family, training her clients, or cooking, she can be found training for powerlifting and strong women competitions.

Beth Lane
More About Beth
After a 45-year career, the last 30 of which were in HR, Beth retired in early 2024. In an effort to fulfill her retirement goal of focusing on structure and purpose, she completed the 200 hour YTT at Thrive Yoga a few months later.
When Peri initially suggested she become a trainer after retiring, Beth emphatically stated that she didn’t “want a 4th career.” As usual, in exactly the way she tells you to use a heavier weight, Peri was right. Beth is thrilled to now be teaching yoga at Legendary Fitness.
When she’s not working out with Peri (or Aidan, who happens to be her daughter) Beth enjoys reading, walking and having adventures with family and friends.
